The role of argon filling in insulating glass

(1) After the insulating glass is filled with argon, the pressure difference between the inside and outside can be reduced, the pressure balance can be maintained, and the glass explosion caused by the pressure difference can be reduced.

(2) It can effectively improve the K value of the insulating glass, reduce the condensation of the indoor glass, and improve the comfort level. That is, the inflated insulating glass is less likely to condense and frost, but not inflating is not the direct cause of fogging.

(3) Due to the characteristics of argon as an inert gas, it can slow down the heat convection in the insulating glass, and at the same time, it can also greatly improve its sound insulation and noise reduction effect, that is, it can make the insulating glass have better insulation and sound insulation effects.

(4) After being inflated with professional insulating glass equipment, the strength of large-area insulating glass can be increased, so that the middle will not collapse due to lack of support.

(5) After using the insulating glass inflator to flush argon gas, the wind pressure resistance of the insulating glass can be greatly improved.

(6) Because the gas filled is dry inert gas, the fully automatic insulating glass inflating line can be used to replace the air with moisture in the hollow cavity, so that the environment in the cavity remains drier and the service life of the molecular sieve in the aluminum spacer frame is extended.

(7) When using low-emissivity LOW-E glass or coated glass, since the gas filled is inactive inert gas, it can protect the film layer and reduce the oxidation rate, thereby extending the service life of the coated glass.
