The effect of argon gas filling on insulating glass

(1) After filling with argon gas, it can reduce the pressure difference between inside and outside, maintain pressure balance, and reduce glass cracking caused by pressure difference.

(2) After filling with argon gas, the K value of the insulated glass can be effectively improved, the condensation of indoor side glass can be reduced, and the comfort level can be improved. That is, the insulated glass after inflation is less prone to condensation and frost, but non inflation is not the direct cause of fogging.

(3) Due to the inherent properties of argon gas as an inert gas, it can slow down thermal convection inside the insulating glass and significantly improve its sound insulation and noise reduction effect, which can enhance the insulation and sound insulation of the insulating glass.

(4) It can increase the strength of large-area insulating glass, so that it will not collapse in the middle due to lack of support.

(5) Increase wind pressure resistance strength.

Argon is a rare gas with the chemical symbol Ar and atomic number 18. Argon is a colorless, odorless, and non-toxic gas that is stable at room temperature and pressure. Due to the lower thermal conductivity of argon compared to air, hollow glass filled with argon has better insulation effect.
